What is data mining?

Finding patterns and other important information from huge data sets is a technique known as data mining, commonly referred to as knowledge discovery in data (KDD). Data mining is the process of examining a huge set of unstructured data to look for trends and extract important information. Software for data mining is used by businesses to discover more about their customers. They may be able to boost sales, cut costs, and build more successful marketing tactics with their assistance. Effective data collection, warehousing, and computer processing are prerequisites for data mining.
