Residential Proxy

Definition updated on November 2023

What is Proxy Residential?

A large, web-like network of actual IP addresses provided by internet service providers (ISPs) can be used to characterize residential proxies. You can use a home proxy network to use its IP address and safeguard your online activity. The IP addresses are typically associated with specific places and are made up of networks of varied sizes. These actual places can be as localized as your neighborhood or as extensive as the entire world. Use a residential proxy server as a middleman between all of your connected devices and the websites. By protecting your identity and location as you browse the internet, these mediators help you stay anonymous. In other words, it allows you to become anyone, anywhere in the world, by stealing their IP address from a proxy pool and making it your own.
