Supervised Learning

Definition updated on November 2023

What is Supervised Learning?

One of the most popular applications of machine learning is supervised learning, which makes use of labeled training data to aid in the prediction accuracy of models. Here, the training data acts as both a teacher and a supervisor for the machines, hence the name. Real-world problems including fraud detection, spam filtering, risk assessment, and image categorization benefit from the use of a comparable methodology. For supervised learning models to be accurately structured, a certain level of skill may be needed. Supervised learning model training can take a lot of time.
