Data Enrichment
What is Data Enrichment?
The process of adding relevant context that is gathered from additional sources to collect data or otherwise enhance it is known as data enrichment. A new computed field can be added, dissimilar data from other internal systems can be combined, or third-party data from outside sources can be appended to perform this enrichment. Any organization can benefit from having enriched data because it makes the information more insightful and useful. Adding new fields that are derived from the existing data is a straightforward form of data enrichment. Customer or marketing analytics is another popular application of data enrichment, adding more details about customers and marketing initiatives to determine what was effective and what wasn't. Other analytics, such as operational analytics, can also make use of this method.
