Definition updated on November 2023

What is big data?

Large, complex information sets that are expanding at an exponential rate are referred to as "big data." The amount of data, the speed at which it is generated and gathered, and the breadth or depth of the data points being looked at are all included. Big data often comes through data mining and is available in a range of formats.
